New Hampshire Housing offers a variety of programs to help first-time buyers safely attain the dream of home ownership. 

Through the Single Family Mortgage Program, New Hampshire Housing provides unique options such as cash assistance grants  to help defray down payment and closing costs. In addition, the Purchase/Rehab Program is available to assist first-time home buyers who wish to purchase a home in need of repair.

The Voucher Assisted Mortgage Option provides an opportunity for very-low income families to purchase a home and use the Housing Choice Voucher (Section 8) as a portion of their monthly mortgage payment. 

To promote construction of affordable single family home ownership units in the state, New Hampshire Housing recently created the New Production Initiative.
