The Voucher Assisted Mortgage Option provides an opportunity for very-low income families to purchase a home and use the Housing Choice Voucher (Section 8) as a portion of their monthly mortgage payment.  This initiative is an option to and follows all guidelines of the Single Family Mortgage Program and is open to all Housing Choice Voucher Program participants with special targeting to GOAL/Family Self Sufficiency (FSS) participants.  Potential borrowers must complete first-time home buyer education through New Hampshire Housing or an approved non-profit housing organization.
