In addition, New Hampshire Housing offers a number of free on-site seminars about various topics the day of the event. Attendees will learn how to establish good credit, how to determine which type of mortgage is right for them, how to start their search for a home, and much more. Putting Your Financial House in Order – Is money slipping through your fingers? Learn ways to spend less and save more! Discover tried and true ways to save money and get cost cutting ideas to help your money go from your paycheck into the bank! This seminar takes place from 9 a.m. to 9:50 a.m.

Home Buying in 2010  – Will the "credit crunch" affect your home search? What mortgage options are still out there? Is it a buyer's market, and, if so, is it the right time to buy? What does it mean to buy a "bank-owned property" and what are the risks for a first-time home buyer? Experienced REALTORS® and lenders share tips and advice to help you find the right mortgage and the right home in this new mortgage market. This seminar takes place from 10:20 a.m. to 11:10 a.m.

Finding a Great Home – Searching for the right home can be confusing and challenging. Learn how to narrow your list from a licensed home inspector. Discover what is physically important to look at and understand when searching for your first home. What are some of the common issues homes have and what would be a major concern. Understanding the important systems of a house can help to make a good house a great home. Also learn about the hazards of lead paint, how it can be dealt with, and new opportunities for removing it. This seminar takes place from 11:40 a.m. to 12:30 a.m.
