Notice of Public Hearing Regarding Draft Homeowner Assistance Fund (HAF) Plan

Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held at New Hampshire Housing to receive comments on the draft Homeowner Assistance Fund (HAF) Plan.

When: Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at 10:00am EDT.

Where:  New Hampshire Housing, 32 Constitution Drive, Bedford, NH 03110 – Attendees are asked to enter the building at the East Entrance (not the main entrance).

Remote: Attendees can attend remotely by, in advance of the hearing, notifying amlandry@nhhfa.org.

Written Comments: In addition to the hearing, New Hampshire Housing will accept written comments that are sent by 5:00pm EDT on Monday, September 13, 2021 to mvoisine@nhhfa.org with a copy to amlandry@nhhfa.org.

Program Information:  

The Governor’s Office for Emergency Relief and Recovery (GOFERR) has asked New Hampshire Housing to assist in the State of New Hampshire’s planning and implementation of the HAF Program.

The Homeowner Assistance Fund (HAF) Program is being supported, in whole or in part, by a federal award number HAF0014 awarded to The State of New Hampshire by the U.S. Department of the Treasury under the Homeowner Assistance Fund established by Section 3206 of the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021, Pub. L. No. 117-2.

COVID Guidelines for those attending the Public Hearing in person:  If vaccinated, masks and social distancing requirements for attendees are eliminated.  If attendees are not vaccinated, they must:

  • Wear masks upon entry, in common areas and any other place where unable to social distance including meetings.
  • Maintain six (6) feet social distancing regardless of location unless appropriate barriers are in place.
