Notice Regarding Public Comment Period and Virtual Public Hearing

Draft state of New Hampshire 2019 Consolidated Annual Performance Evaluation Report, 2020 Annual Action Plan, 2016-2020 Consolidated Plan Amendment and Citizen Participation Amendment public comment period and virtual public hearing.

New Hampshire Housing Finance Authority, Community Development Finance Authority and the Department of Health and Human Services, Bureau of Housing Supports, in conjunction with the Housing and Community Development Planning Council, has drafted a Consolidated Annual Performance Evaluation Report concerning the use of U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Community Development Block Grant, HOME Investment Partnerships Program, Federal Housing Trust Fund and Emergency Solutions Grant funds during calendar year 2019, a 2020 Annual Action Plan, amendment to the 2016-2020 Consolidated Plan and an amendment to the Citizen Participation Plan, to address the state’s community development, housing and homeless needs as well as the response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Council and the three agencies mentioned above who administer the state grants are soliciting comments on the draft 2019 Consolidated Annual Performance Evaluation Report (CAPER), the 2020 Action Plan, the amendment to the Consolidated Plan and the amendment to the Citizen Participation Plan, from April 27, 2020 through May 4, 2020. The Draft 2019 CAPER, 2020 Action Plan, amended 2016-2020 Consolidated Plan and amended Citizen Participation Plan will be available for viewing or download no later than April 27, 2020 at 5:00 PM at www.nhhfa.org/publications-data/nh-consolidated-planning-for-hud

Printed copies are available upon request to members of the general public lacking internet access.

The Public Hearing will be held virtually on May 5, 2020 at 10:30 AM.

In addition to the general public, stakeholders, including agencies, units of government, and other interested parties are encouraged to invite clients and beneficiaries to participate in the public hearing and to comment on the draft CAPER, 2020 Annual Action Plan, 2016-2020 amended Consolidated Plan and amended Citizen Participation Plan.
