What will you do?    

We’re hiring a full-time Compliance & Grants Manager to advise and aid program staff by assessing and mitigating risks from regulatory non-compliance and creating a regular program of risk review. This position will also assist with and coordinate responses to regulatory audits, perform accounting transactions and functions for grants and identify and assess audit and compliance risks relative to grants and programs administered by staff to create and/or modify compliance processes. Additionally, this position will be responsible for the assessment of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) program initiatives and performance against established metrics. 

 

What’s required?    

Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and at least five years of relevant work experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Accounting experience and strong internal audit/risk/regulatory compliance experience is required. Legal or insurance background is desirable.

As the Multifamily Housing Inspector, you’re responsible for ensuring all rental units in the properties administered by NH Housing meet Uniform Physical Conditions Standards, Housing Quality Standards, and other program policies and regulations. You’ll be primarily responsible for onsite inspections of our rental portfolio, preparing written reports, and providing support to the asset management team. You’ll also track & evaluate capital needs assessments, report non-compliance inspection results to the IRS, and respond to owner inspection inquiries.

The successful candidate will have the ability to understand and interpret federal and state rental property regulations , the ability to relay complex information in common terms, and to think analytically and make decisions, as well as strong organization, customer service and communication skills. A Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least three years of relevant work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

Starting Pay: $51,800 – $63,456 depending on relevant experience
