New Hampshire Housing’s mission is to promote, finance, and support affordable housing and related services for the people of NH. We’ve been instrumental in financing the creation of more than 15,000 affordable rental homes.

The Program Manager, LIHTC, will administer ongoing multi-family programmatic initiatives, with significant responsibility for independent operation of the Low Income Housing Tax Credit program, as well as participate in the development of new housing programs, and assist the Director of Housing Development as necessary. The successful candidate will have the ability to lead the Qualified Allocation Plan review and evaluation, maintain familiarity with all federal cross-cutting requirements under various funding programs, and maintain relationships with lenders, developers, consultants, and housing advocates locally and nationally. A Master’s degree in a related field and at least three years relevant work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

New Hampshire Housing seeks a full-time Housing Program Specialist, Inspector in our Management & Development division, who will assist in the programmatic components of various programs including technical and administrative support activities related to ongoing compliance monitoring and program administration requirements.

The successful candidate has a bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least three years relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Candidates should possess the ability to understand and interpret Federal regulations and state laws dealing with rental property. Attention to detail and the ability to work independently is essential.

The Program Manager, Multi-Family Development will review and underwrite development financing applications, assist in the administration of multi-family housing programs, and prepare credit memorandums for Board approval. Attention to detail and strong writing skills are essential qualities for this position. Experience in housing development, zoning, construction project management, real estate development, and/or other areas of rental housing development is strongly desired. The successful candidate has a master’s degree in a related field and at least three years of relevant work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
