We’re hiring a full-time Program Manager, Multifamily Development, for our Multifamily Housing Division. 

You will:  

  • Administer development programs in compliance with federal regulations and NH Housing program policies 
  • Review and underwrite development financing applications 
  • Work with business partners and conduct information sessions  
  • Draft program funding notices  
  • Prepare credit memorandums for Board approval 

What’s required? 

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential to success 
  • Attention to detail and time management skills 
  • Strong persuasive and decision-making skills 
  • Strong Microsoft Office knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; MS Access a plus  
  • Experience in underwriting 
  • Experience in housing development, construction project management, real estate development, and/or other areas of rental housing development is strongly desired 
  • Familiarity with federal cross-cutting requirements for funding programs a plus 
  • Six to eight years relevant work experience, Master’s Degree in a related field is a plus

Join our Assisted Housing Team dedicated to providing direct assistance to very low-income households through the Housing Choice Voucher Program.  

We’re hiring a full-time Rental Assistance Manager for our Assisted Housing Division. 

You will:   

  • Administer the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher and Moderate Rehabilitation Rental Assistance Programs in accordance with HUD regulations and NH Housing Administrative Plan 
  • Determine eligibility, including rent calculations, educating owners and participants on program guidelines, and interpreting legal documents necessary for the administration of these programs 
  • Assist prospective participants in locating suitable units and contact current owners and apartment complexes regarding vacancies 

What’s required? 

  • Strong communication and organizational skills 
  • Ability to understand and interpret federal regulations and state rental property laws 
  • Ability to relay complex information in common terms, and to think analytically and make decisions 
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office, including Word and Outlook  
  • At least five years’ relevant work experience or a combination of education and experience, Bachelor’s degree in a related field a plus  
  • Ability to read and speak Spanish is preferred, but not required
