New Hampshire Housing is seeking a full time Rental Assistance Manager, responsible for the administration of the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher and Moderate Rehabilitation Rental Assistance Programs. The Rental Assistance Manager is primarily responsible for determining eligibility in accordance with HUD regulations and the NHHFA Administrative Plan for program participants. This includes rent calculations, educating owners and participants on program guidelines, and interpreting legal documents necessary for the administration of the Section 8 Program. A Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least three years relevant work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Ability to read and speak Spanish is desired, but not required.

New Hampshire Housing seeks a full time Rental Assistance Inspector, responsible for conducting inspections for the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher and Moderate Rehabilitation Rental Assistance Programs. This position is primarily responsible for determining unit eligibility, negotiating contract rents with owners, performing inspections and lead paint tests in accordance with HUD regulations and the NHHFA Administrative Plan. This includes scheduling, preparing lease and contract packages, maintaining and tracking failed inspection records, approving requests for extensions and educating owners and participants on program guidelines for the administration of the Section 8 Program. A Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least five years relevant work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Ability to read and speak Spanish is desired, but not required.
