Notice of Public Hearing: 1035 Lafayette Road

Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be conducted at Portsmouth Housing Authority located at 245 Middle Street, Portsmouth, New Hampshire from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM on February 18, 2026, with respect to a proposal for financing by the New Hampshire Housing Finance Authority for a project known as 1035 Lafayette Road Workforce Housing. NH Housing intends to approve the use of $413,000 in Affordable Housing Fund (AHF) monies as part of the financing; however, the amount approved may be decreased or increased at NH Housing’s discretion. The proposed $18,456,213 project will be located at 1035 Lafayette Road, Portsmouth, NH. The project will create 44 new affordable housing units. The owner of the proposed Project will be Portsmouth Housing Authority, located in Portsmouth, NH.

NH Housing is the administrator of the Affordable Housing Fund pursuant to RSA 204-C:56-62 and has established Rules for the administration of the Affordable Housing Fund (HFA 113).  

Written comments will be accepted for two business days following the public hearing and must be received by email or physical delivery no later than 4:30 PM on February 20, 2026.
