Notice of Public Hearing: TEFRA Residences at Chestnut

Notice is hereby given that on February 17th, 2026 a public hearing will be conducted by New Hampshire Housing Finance Authority (NH Housing) at its offices at 32 Constitution Drive, Bedford, NH from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM.  The hearing is with respect to the proposed issuance by New Hampshire Housing Finance Authority, acting under and pursuant to New Hampshire Revised Statutes Annotated Chapter 204-C (the “Act”), of obligations in the maximum aggregate principal amount of $10,500,000 (the “Bonds”) (out of a total anticipated project cost of approximately $69,000,000). The Bonds are proposed to be issued to provide financing as permitted under the Act to fund additional project costs for the following multi-family housing project (the “Project”): the acquisition of an approximately .71 acre site with building thereon located at 351 Chestnut Street  (referred to in the Tax Assessor’s office as Tax Map 73, Lot 1)  and an approximately .33 acre site located at 0 Merrimack Street (referred to in the Tax Assessor’s office as Tax Map 73-30A) in the City of  Manchester, County of Hillsborough, and State of New Hampshire, such sites being contiguous except for the separation by Merrimack Street; the demolition of the building currently located at 351 Chestnut Street; and the construction, furnishing and equipping on such land of a 142 unit multi-family residential rental housing development (consisting of a 98-unit building located at 351 Chestnut Street  and a  44-unit building located at 0 Merrimack Street with an aggregate square foot building area for the two buildings totaling approximately 159,000 square feet). All 142 residential units are expected to be occupied by tenants having incomes no greater than 60% of area median income. The owner of the Project will be Residences at Chestnut MNH Limited Partnership, a New Hampshire limited partnership, the general partner of which will be Residences at Chestnut MNH GP LLC.  The Bonds will be a general obligation of New Hampshire Housing Finance Authority but will not be a debt, liability, obligation or pledge of the faith and credit of the State of New Hampshire or any political subdivision thereof.

Written comments will be accepted for two business days following the public hearing, and must be received by email, fax, or physical delivery no later than 4:30 p.m. on February 19, 2026.
