Brendan Goodwin Joins New Hampshire Housing as Managing Director of Assisted Housing

New Hampshire Housing is pleased to announce the appointment of Brendan Goodwin as Managing Director of the Assisted Housing Division.

In this leadership role, Brendan will oversee the administration and operations of the Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) program, housing-related grant initiatives, and a variety of direct rental and client service programs. His extensive experience in housing policy and program management will support our mission to provide affordable housing solutions and expand opportunities for the people of New Hampshire.

Brendan brings deep expertise from his previous role at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), where he served as a Senior Housing Program Specialist in the voucher policy division. There, he led the Community Choice Demonstration, a five-year national study focused on helping families with vouchers access neighborhoods with greater opportunity, and contributed to the development of key operational policies for the HCV program.

Prior to his time at HUD, Brendan served for over a decade at the Massachusetts Department of Housing & Community Development, including as Director of Rental Assistance Programs. His career in housing began in the nonprofit sector, where he worked on housing and homelessness issues and developed a strong commitment to supporting individuals and families in achieving stability.
