New Hampshire Housing and Community Development Planning Council are beginning the process of developing the 2026-2030 Consolidated Plan which includes the 2026 Action Plan for the State of New Hampshire. The Consolidated Plan and Action Plan will establish the priorities for use of HOME Investment Partnerships Program, National Housing Trust Fund, Community Development Block Grant, and Emergency Solutions Grant funds received from the US Department of Housing and Urban Development and describes the method of distribution of these funds in 2026-2030. The Council and the three agencies administering the funds, (New Hampshire Housing Finance Authority, New Hampshire Community Development Finance Authority, and the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services, Bureau of Housing Supports) are holding public meetings for the 2026-2030 Consolidated Plan and 2026 Action Plan.
There will be multiple opportunities to provide input throughout the 2026-2030 Consolidated Plan and Action Plan process. First, four regional listening sessions are planned to gather input that will help with the creation of the draft plans. Additional opportunities to participate in the process will include a public hearing and comment period that will be scheduled once the draft plans have been completed and made available for review.
A listening session is being held at the Somersworth City Council Chambers located at One Government Way, Somersworth at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, October 22, 2025.
One more listening session will be held in the middle section of the state. The date, time and location will be shared in a future invitation
