Notice of Public Hearing

Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be conducted by New Hampshire Housing Finance Authority in the Board Room located at 32 Constitution Drive, Bedford, New Hampshire at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, February 14, 2023.  The hearing is with respect to the proposed issuance by New Hampshire Housing Finance Authority, acting under and pursuant to New Hampshire Revised Statutes Annotated Chapter 204-C (the “Act”), of obligations in the maximum aggregate principal amount of $16,000,000 (the “Bonds”) (out of a total anticipated project cost of approximately $27,130,820). The Bonds are proposed to be issued to provide financing as permitted under the Act for the following multi-family housing project (the “Project”): the acquisition, rehabilitation, furnishing and equipping of an existing 96 unit multi-family residential housing development consisting of four buildings with an aggregate square foot building area totaling approximately 84,097 square feet and with at least 40% of  the units expected to be occupied by tenants having incomes no greater than 60% of area median income. The four buildings (each a condominium unit) are located on a portion of an approximately 63.644-acre lot located at 68 Hemingway Drive (referred to in the Tax Assessor’s office as Tax Map 258, Lot 63) in the City of Rochester, County of Strafford, and State of New Hampshire (such 63.644-acre site constituting the “Overall Site”).   In addition to the four condominium units, the Overall Site contains common area associated with the four condominium units and two parcels of convertible land that can be converted into a maximum of 22 additional condominium units.   The owner of the Project will be 68 Hemingway, LLC, a New Hampshire limited liability company, of which 11th EG Holding LLC will be the managing member and RBC Community Investments LLC will be the investor member.  The Bonds will not be a general obligation of New Hampshire Housing Finance Authority or a pledge of the faith and credit of New Hampshire Housing Finance Authority or a debt, liability, obligation or pledge of the faith and credit of the State of New Hampshire or any political subdivision thereof.

Written comments will be accepted for two business days following the public hearing, and must be received by email, fax, or physical delivery no later than 4:30 p.m. on February 16, 2023.
