Overview

New Hampshire Housing Finance Authority is a self-supporting public corporation that promotes, finances and supports affordable housing. NHHFA has multi-family rental housing and homeownership programs that assist low- and moderate-income persons with obtaining affordable housing. Since its inception, New Hampshire Housing has helped more than 45,000 families purchase their own home and has supported the creation of 15,000 multi-family housing units.

Established by statute in 1981, New Hampshire Housing receives no operating funds from the state government.
