Small Solutions: Tiny Houses in New Hampshire (hosted by Workforce Housing Coalition of the Greater Seacoast)

June 24, 2021 | 12:00pm - 1:00pm

Venue :Virtual

The Workforce Housing Coalition of the Greater Seacoast is sponsoring a free webinar on Tiny Houses. Thursday, June 24 from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m.

With family sizes shrinking and the proportion of one-person households growing, New Hampshire is looking toward smaller solutions to the state’s housing crisis: accessory dwelling units, pocket neighborhoods, and, of course, tiny houses. Small homes are more affordable to build, make use of existing land, can be grouped together on one parcel harmoniously, and fit into even the most rural seacoast communities.

In this webinar, attendees will hear from three tiny house enthusiasts:

  • Caroline Corriveau, AAIA is an architect with Warrenstreet Architects who lives in a tiny home she built herself.
  • Steven Paquin, the Code Official for the Town of Wolfeboro and Vice President of the NH Building Officials Association.
  • Don Powers, the Founder and President of Union Studio, will share his decades of experience designing diverse and vibrant communities.

This conversation will be moderated by James Vayo, Project Manager at the Southern New Hampshire Planning Commission.
