Notice of Public Hearing Regarding Bay Street Supportive Housing

Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be conducted at Laconia Public Library located at 695 N Main St, Laconia, New Hampshire from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM on May 14, 2024, with respect to a proposal for financing by the New Hampshire Housing Finance Authority for a project know as Bay Street Supportive Housing.  NH Housing intends to approve the use of $1,125,000 in Affordable Housing Fund (AHF) monies as part of the financing; however, the amount approved may be decreased or increased at NH Housing’s discretion. The proposed $2,720,380 project will be located at 19 Bay Street, Laconia, NH. The project will create 12 new units of permanent supportive housing. The owner of the proposed Project will be Lakes Region Community Developers, located in Laconia, NH.

NH Housing is the administrator of the Affordable Housing Fund pursuant to RSA 204-C:56-62 and has established Rules for the administration of the Affordable Housing Fund (HFA 113).  

Written comments will be accepted for two business days following the public hearing and must be received by email or physical delivery no later than 4:30 PM on May 16, 2024.
