RENTAL HOUSING ASSISTANT

We are looking for someone with proven customer service skills, strong communication abilities, and the aptitude to learn, retain and convey complex information into common terms. Does this sound like you? If so, you may be the perfect candidate to be a Rental Housing Assistant. This position responds to phone requests for information on housing programs, processes applications for rental assistance, maintains the waiting list, and determines eligibility for the Housing Choice Voucher program. The ability to speak and understand Spanish is preferred, but a strong command of the English language is required.

ACCOUNTANT, PROGRAM OPERATIONS

New Hampshire Housing Finance Authority seeks a qualified candidate to fill an Accountant, Program Operations position. Responsibilities will include accounting transactions and functions relative to one or more major components of the Authority's business or major segments of the accounting process; such as loan servicing, Section 8 rental assistance, and the preparation of various financial reports. Successful candidate will have strong experience with computerized financial and accounting systems, extensive experience in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook, and a strong understanding of generally accepted accounting practices, with excellent time management skills and attention to detail. A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field with five years relevant experience or equivalent combination of education/experience.

COMMUNICATIONS/WEB CONTENT SPECIALIST

Are you a creative, web, and social media savvy person with strong skills in writing content for a variety of communication channels? Do you have experience in marketing, branding, and organizational messaging and know how to connect those dots?  

If you enjoy the challenge of keeping websites and social media posts fresh, useful and engaging, and can create consistent organizational messaging across platforms, this is the job for you. We want you on our team if you are familiar with New Hampshire and its challenges and have a desire to be part of a statewide, mission-oriented organization that positively impacts the lives of Granite Staters. 

The Communications/Web Content Specialist will manage and maintain New Hampshire Housing’s external web, social media, and online presence, assist with producing publications, news releases, promotional, housing advocacy and training collateral, and support NHHFA’s conference and event planning.  

Skills and abilities needed to be a successful candidate for this new position include strong promotional and report writing skills, great people skills, knowledge of content management systems, proficiency with InDesign as well as Microsoft Office 365 programs. Experience with WordPress, HubSpot, other Adobe Creative software is a plus. A bachelor’s degree in a related field, and at least 3 years of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

FRONT DESK ASSISTANT

New Hampshire Housing seeks a Front Desk Assistant responsible for reception, phone handling, and general administrative duties. The successful candidate will have the ability to professionally greet and route all visitors, implement proper building access and security procedures, respond promptly to incoming calls and route callers accurately through organization, mail handling, order supplies, respond to general inquiries, as well as provide general clerical and administrative assistance. Skills should include ability to multi-task, strong knowledge of Microsoft Office software, aptitude for learning, and a friendly and polished demeanor. High School Diploma and three to five years relevant work experience are required.
