ACCOUNTANT - LOAN OPERATIONS

New Hampshire Housing Finance Authority seeks a qualified candidate to fill an Accountant position. Responsibilities will include the accounting transactions and functions relative to one or more major components of the Authority's business or major segments of the accounting process; such as loan servicing, investments, and reconciliations; as well as, the preparation of various financial reports. Successful candidate will have experience with computerized financial and accounting systems, extensive Microsoft Excel experience, and a solid understanding of generally accepted accounting principles with excellent time management and attention to detail skills. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field with five years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education/experience.

ASSET MANAGER

New Hampshire Housing is currently looking for an Asset Manager providing project oversight for properties funded under the Section 8 Performance Based Contract Administration, Low Income Housing Tax Credit, HOME, and Tax Exempt Bond programs, as well as other special programs administered by the Authority. The successful candidate will have the ability to conduct physical inspections and management reviews, approve project expenditures, monitor property management contracts, understand and interpret Federal Regulations and regulatory documents. The candidate must also have a general knowledge of accepted accounting principles and Microsoft Office products, and the ability to work well in a team environment. A Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or at least five years of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education/experience preferred. Federal affordable housing program experience desired.

PORTFOLIO MANAGER

New Hampshire Housing is seeking a full time Portfolio Manager, responsible for the development and implementation of asset management/compliance efforts in support of the multi-family affordable housing programs. The Portfolio Manager is primarily responsible for properties as assigned by the Director, Asset Management. Additional responsibilities include the administration of related HUD/IRS contracts as well as other special programs administered by the Authority. A Master’s degree in a related field and at least three years relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
