Notice of Public Hearing for Bridge Street Recovery

Notice is hereby given that, on Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at 4:30 p.m. New Hampshire Housing Finance Authority (the Authority) will hold a public hearing via electronic means in accordance with Emergency Order #12 pursuant to Executive Order 2020-04 with respect to a proposal for financing by the Authority for a project known as Bridge Street Recovery. The Authority intends to approve the use of up to $1,450,000 in Affordable Housing Fund (AHF) monies a part of the financing; the amount approved may be decreased or increased at the Authority’s discretion. The proposed financing is for the acquisition and rehabilitation of a vacant motel to be converted into a 32-unit outpatient care and transitional housing facility located at 608 Francestown Road (Route 47) in Bennington, New Hampshire.  The proposed $4.5M project will serve adults with substance use disorder. The owner of the proposed project will be 1810 Realty Group, Inc. located in Dorchester, Massachusetts.

The Authority is the administrator of the Affordable Housing Fund pursuant to RSA 204-C:56-62 and has established Rules for the administration of the Affordable Housing Fund (HFA 113).   

Written comments will be accepted for two business days following the public hearing, and must be received by email, fax, or physical delivery no later than 4:30 p.m. on May 29, 2020.
